Student Vision for
California Education
In a new age, defined by the advent of hybrid and online learning, artificial intelligence, and chronic absenteeism, the definition of education is changing as we know it. And no one knows that better than students.
Since the pandemic, students across California have struggled to find meaning and value in the way we currently deliver education. We believe it’s time for students to have a say.
In partnership with Scaling Student Success and Parsec Education, we aim to compile a new vision for California education, informed by the voices of thousands of students across the state.

How will we do it?
We are currently gathering student input on how they would reshape the education system, through a short series of questions, using an AI tool called Parsec REAL. Students can provide responses via text, audio, or video, allowing them to share their thoughts, organically and with minimal barriers to participation.
After gathering input and synthesizing results via Parsec REAL, a coordinating body of representatives from different student organizations will review and refine the vision document. They will also create a representative feed of audio and video clips to share via social media and raise awareness about the collective vision.
Together, this group of students will determine the best strategy for disseminating results and advocating for related policy shifts to make this vision a reality.
How can I get involved?
We’re looking for school districts and partner organizations to share our program and encourage students to participate, so that we can hear from the most diverse range of students.
