Our Mission
GENup’s AI Education initiative seeks to prepare students for a rapidly changing digital world by ensuring equitable access to artificial intelligence literacy and responsible technology instruction within our school systems.
Why It Matters
As AI becomes integrated into every major industry, a lack of structured AI education creates a massive digital divide, leaving students unprepared for future careers and vulnerable to technological misinformation.

How Your Chapter Can Take Action

Petition the School Board: Create a Change.org petition showing community and student support for integrating AI literacy into the district curriculum.

Meet with Board Members: Bring a paper copy of your AI toolkit and student signatures to pitch policy solutions directly to your elected representatives.

Testify at Public Meetings: Attend local school board meetings to give public comment, sharing your personal stories and student data regarding the need for modern tech education.

Propose an Official Resolution: Draft an academic resolution outlining your advocacy asks, get it agendized for a board vote, and collaborate with GENup staff to oversee its implementation.
